Director of Membership & Corporate Partners, Electro-Federation Canada (EFC)

We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Membership & Corporate Partners to work with existing members and sponsors to maximize their engagement and value from EFC.
This position is the critical front line to executives within the industry and the EFC sponsor network. The candidate will identify opportunities for new programs and services while ensuring that existing offerings are matched to members’ needs. Collaboration between channel members will be facilitated via the leadership of the Supply Chain Network. Corporate sponsors will benefit from a partnership approach where their businesses will be promoted to members via custom marketing plans.
Under the supervision of the President & CEO, the duties and responsibilities of the Director of Membership and Corporate Partners include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work with member segments to identify and recruit new members;
- Organize and execute regular engagement meetings with members to maximize their value from EFC;
- Responsible for the overall engagement strategy for EFC;
- Recruit and manage corporate sponsor programs;
- Lead and manage the Supply Chain Network and drive all initiatives;
- Contribute to program and service development to address member and sponsor needs; and
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Your ability to understand the business drivers for manufacturers, distributors and manufacturers representatives will allow you to have meaningful conversations to help uncover needs while promoting EFC offerings. You also have skills in program development and meeting facilitation to help drive and execute the Supply Chain Network agenda.
- Bachelors/College Degree in Business Administration;Minimum ten (10) years B2B channel/sales experience required, electrical industry experience is an asset;
- Demonstrated understanding of financial and business drivers of channel partners;
- Understands current issues around supply chain to lead Supply Chain Network;
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
- Demonstrated leadership, facilitation and critical thinking skills;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to strategize, identify opportunities and develop solutions;
- Ability to work independently and to work on cross functional teams; and
- Results-driven and energetic self-starter with the ability to execute tasks and deliver results.
